I received an email from Patrick Campbell who believes his uncle, James Campbell, was on Fox during Vietnam.  He also believes James was a cook, or in Supply department.

I am looking for anyone who knew James and could verify his time on board.

Thank you, Phil Habib

I forgot to mention that James had passed away recently and we want to honor him at our memorial services at the reunion and on the Anchor's Away page on the web site.

Mr, Habib, Patrick Campbell surely was on the Uss Fox, DLG 33. I first met him around May of that year when I reported on board, he was the chief in charge of commissary. I left the ship in 72 -73, as I remember, he was a really nice guy, and I'm sorry to hear of his passing.John Adams

Confirming that CSC James Campbell was on board USS Fox during our 1970 WestPac cruise. He had releived CSC A.M. Lowe. Not as brazen as Chief Lowe, but a fine Chief. Enjoyed having him as a member in the Goat Locker.
